About Kim
I have lived and worked in the Seattle area for more than 30 years. I have always enjoyed being active. I was a dancer, and later taught dance classes and aerobic dance.
Even when I worked in the corporate world as customhouse broker, I continued to teach aerobic dance and study fitness. Over time, I realized that I was always answering people's questions and giving suggestions on how to improve their fitness routines. I loved strength training and how strong and powerful I felt doing it.
I always wanted to share my experience and love of training with others. So I left the corporate world, went back to school, and became a certified personal trainer. I train in homes and online. I live in North Seattle and love hiking in the beauty of the great pacific northwest.
Approach to Personal Training
I enjoy working with people and helping them stay motivated. I would describe my approach as "gentle, but persistent." Accountability is important, but setbacks do happen. The main thing is to keep moving forward.
I have a holistic approach to personal training. I take into account a person's lifestyle, attitude, outlook and physical limitations. I also incorporate a variety of movement - from strength training to balance work to a focus on flexibility.
After many years in the field, it still excites me to see the positive changes that take place in people's lives through fitness training.
